DESIGNED FOR 11 1/2" FASHION DOLL
FOR EACH OUTFIT YOU WILL NEED:
1/2 oz. either Red Heart Baby Wintuk, or Caron Baby Dazzle Aire
crochet hook size `C'
GAUGE: 5 sts = 1"

STRAPLESS JUMPSUIT
Work entire jumpsuit in back lp of sts only.

Rnd 1: beg. at top edge of bodice ch 24, join with sl st to
       form ring.  Ch 2, sc in each st, join with sl st to
       top of ch 2.
Rnds 2-18: Repeat rnd 1, fasten off.
Rnd 19: Sl st front to back at center to form crotch.
Legs: Ch 2, sc around to sl st, join in top of ch 2.
Rnds 20-28: Repeat rnd 19.  Fasten off.
For second leg, join yarn at center crotch.  Repeat
       rnds 19-28.  Fasten off.

Belt: Ch 50, sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across.
       Fasten off.


HALTER DRESS
Beginning at top edge of bodice, ch 26, join with sl st
       to form ring.
Rnd 1: Ch 2, 1 sc in each ch around, join in top of ch 2.
Rnds 2-12: Repeat rnd 1
Rnd 13: Ch 3, dc in each sc, inc 4 dc evenly.
Rnds 14, 15, 16, 20, 22: Repeat rnd 13.
Rnds 17, 18, 19, 21, 23: Dc in each dc around.
Rnd 24: Dc in each dc, fasten off.
Tie: ch 75, fasten off.  Attach tie to top of bodice front
       with single knot under first rnd in center, tie in bow.

CROCHETED WITH HOOK SIZE `C' AND 1/2 OZ BABY YARN
GAUGE: 5 STS = 1"

TWO-PIECE SUIT

Skirt: work entire skirt in back lp of sts only.  Do not
       turn work at end of each rnd.

Rnd 1: Ch 22, join with sl st to form ring.  Ch 2, sc in each
       ch around, sl st in top of ch 3 (I think it means ch 2).
Rnd 2: inc in first sc, (dc in each of next 7 sc, inc in next
       sc) twice, dc in next 7 sc, join, ch 3.
Rnd 3: Dc in each dc, join, ch 3.
Rnds 4-12: Repeat rnd 3, fasten off at end of rnd 12.

Jacket: Rnd 1: Starting at lower edge of jacket, ch 30.
        Dc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across, ch 3, turn.
Rnd 2: working in front lp only, dc in each dc, ch 3, turn.
Rnd 3: Dc in each dc in back lp only, ch 3, turn.
Rnd 4: Repeat rnd 2.
Rnd 5: Repeat rnd 3.
Rnd 6: Working in front lp, dc in each of next 6 dc, ch 6,
       sk 3 dc, dc in each of next 9 dc, ch 6, dc in last 7 dc,
       ch 3, turn.
Rnd 7: Working in back lp, dc in each of next 5 dc, (sk 1 dc,
       dc in next dc) twice, sk 1 dc, dc in each of next 10 dc,
       (sk 1 dc, dc in next dc) twice, sk 1 dc, 1 dc in last
       7 dc, fasten off.
Sleeves: Join yarn to inside of armhole.  Working each rnd in
       front lp only, ch 3, dc in each dc around.  Join with
       sl st in top of ch 3, ch 3, do not turn.
Rnd 2: Dc in each dc, sk last st, join, ch 3.
Rnds 3-4: Repeat rnd 2.
Rnds 5-7: Dc in each dc around, join, ch3.  Fasten off.
Repeat pattern for second sleeve.
Edge: At front bottom edge with wrong side facing you, work 3 sc
      in each side of dc.  Work 2 sc in top corner, sc in each dc
      around neck edge, 2 sc in corner, 3 sc in each side of dc
      down front edge, fasten off.

Personally, I would make these in variegated baby yarns, so they
have more color.  I tried to make some out of crochet thread but
the hooks are so small, these just went easier and faster and I
didn't get so tangled up!  The other stuff I'm saving for kite
string!  (I made them for a friend's 3 daughters who are very
`into' Barbie.


